This Privacy Policy explains how AISongsMaker handles personal information when you use aisongsmaker.org and related services. It should be read with our Terms of Service.

1. Scope and responsible service

AISongsMaker is the service responsible for the processing described here. This Policy covers our website, account and payment flows, AI music workspace, projects, uploads, downloads, Song Gifts, and support. It does not govern third-party sites or services with their own privacy policies.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we collect:

• Account information: name, email, authentication identifiers, profile image, verification status, and account settings.
• Creative content: prompts, lyrics, titles, styles, uploaded audio or images, generated outputs, projects, favorites, shares, and related metadata.
• Transaction information: plan or Credit purchase, amount, currency, status, billing identifiers, Credit balance and ledger. Payment processors handle complete card or bank details; we generally receive transaction references rather than full payment credentials.
• Usage and device information: pages and features used, task events, downloads, approximate location derived from IP, IP address, browser, device, operating system, cookies, and diagnostics.
• Communications: support requests, feedback, survey responses, and related attachments.
• Safety information: signals used to prevent fraud, abuse, rights violations, and security incidents.

We receive information from you, your device, authentication providers you choose, payment processors, service providers, and lawful public or third-party sources.

3. How and why we use information

We use information to provide and personalize the Service; authenticate accounts; process tasks, uploads, storage, payments, Credits, downloads, and shares; provide support; communicate service changes; measure and improve reliability and usability; prevent fraud and abuse; enforce policies; comply with law; and establish or defend legal claims.

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on performance of our contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, consent where requested, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4. Creative content and AI processing

We process Inputs and Outputs to perform the action you request, maintain project continuity, troubleshoot failures, provide downloads and shares, and enforce safety and rights rules. This may require sending content and technical metadata to AI generation, audio-processing, storage, or delivery providers acting for us.

Do not upload confidential, sensitive, or personal information you are not authorized to process. Uploading does not by itself authorize us to publish your content in marketing. Audio and image files may be delivered through direct CDN links: anyone who has a file link can retrieve that file, even when the workspace listing requires your account. Song Gift and share-page settings control those pages; revoking a page does not invalidate file links already obtained. Cached copies may remain until they expire or are removed.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information for money. We may share information with:

• hosting, database, storage, content-delivery, authentication, email, analytics, monitoring, security, AI generation, and audio-processing providers;
• payment processors, tax or billing providers, and fraud-prevention partners;
• professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and counterparties to a business transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards;
• authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or enforce agreements; and
• recipients you select when you share a project, output, or Song Gift.

Providers may use information only under their own applicable terms and our instructions or permissions. We seek providers appropriate to the sensitivity and purpose of the data.

6. International transfers

AISongsMaker and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Privacy protections may differ from your country. Where required, we use recognized transfer safeguards or another lawful mechanism.

7. Retention and deletion

We retain information only as reasonably needed for the purposes above:

• account and project data while your account is active or until you delete it;
• Inputs, Outputs, and assets while needed for your workspace, task recovery, downloads, or shares;
• payment, Credit, rights, consent, security, and dispute records for applicable legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and limitation periods;
• operational logs for a limited period appropriate to reliability and security; and
• backups until they are overwritten through normal cycles.

Deletion controls remove content from active use, but legal records, security evidence, de-identified data, and temporary backups may remain where justified. Revoking a public share does not erase copies already made by others.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision. You may also have the right to complain to a privacy authority. We may verify identity and retain information required by law or necessary to protect others.

9. Cookies, analytics, and security

We use cookies and similar technologies for limited purposes:

• Strictly necessary: authentication, sessions, security, fraud prevention, load handling, and payment flows. Blocking these may prevent core features from working.
• Preferences: remembering language and other choices where available.
• Measurement: understanding aggregate traffic, feature use, reliability, and performance when analytics is enabled.
• Advertising or marketing: only if introduced and disclosed; we will request consent where applicable law requires it.

You can control non-essential cookies through any consent controls we make available and through your browser settings. Browser deletion or blocking may reset preferences or affect Service functionality. We do not treat continued browsing alone as consent where applicable law requires an affirmative choice.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including access controls and secure transport. No online service can guarantee absolute security; protect your credentials and contact us if you suspect compromise.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
